clarissa & neema: saratoga national museum of dance

Posted in: Weddings

July 19 2010

Beautiful.. Thats it gang. Clarissa & Neema wanted a simple and beautiful wedding that was also intimate at the same time. I’d say they sure pulled it off on a hot and humid Friday in July. Its been a while since we’ve shot a whole wedding at The Saratoga National Museum of Dance and I really did miss shooting at that place. Its probably the most perfect room for smaller weddings while keeping with that whole Saratoga feeling too…

Was this deja vu? Here we are arriving at the same hotel, for the same family for the second time in just 8 months. Only this time it wasn’t Mona’s wedding and it wasn’t 40 degrees outside, it was 90. No, this time it was her brother Neema and her now sister in law Clarissa’s big day. Back to arriving at the hotel… Clarissa was all smiles upon entering suite 527. She was getting finished being made fabulous. We shot some getting ready photos of this beautiful July bride and then it was off to the Museum of Dance for their first look. I just loved everything about their first look too. The light, the calmness of the couple but then capturing the emotion the time they laid eyes on each other. It was pretty darn cool. I saw something cool outside that happened to be red. It was an old vintage taxi cab. Neema’s father’s friend was kind enough to park this bad boy out front for some photo ops. After all those photos were done it was time to get married. This space is just spectacular for ceremonies. I think my favorite part was when Clarissa and Neema’s son Paul walked Clarissa down the aisle and they both were just beaming with pride. After the ceremony I wanted a little more of this red taxi and a few more couple shots in some softer light. Then it was time to head on in for their reception. Let me just say thank god for my iPhone. Neema had burned a few CD’s with their first dance song on it. Unfortunately those CD’s would not play for whatever reason. Have no fear, JP’s iPhone with the iTunes store is here! Without skipping a beat I downloaded the exact version of their first dance put my iPhone on airplane mode (because how embarrassing would it be if I got a call or text during their first dance?) and handed the phone off to the band. I felt like a hero (cue hero my enrique iglesias now). Anyway it was a wonderful evening and smooth sailing from then on out. It was truly an honor to be asked back to shoot another wedding for the Ghazi family and great to meet Clarissa’s family as well. We loved being surrounded by good people we consider friends before clients. Thank you again and congrats to Clarissa & Neema!

Peace,
JP

Rachel I happened to see your comment so I’ll just go ahead and answer. Personally, I thought the acoustics at the Museum of Dance with the live band were fantastic! Definitely not overwhelming, and the band play places in the area frequently, and thus are pretty familiar with sounds of places. The band Neema and Clarissa had was “Body and Soul” if I’m not mistaken. Down below at the bottom there should be a link to the New York Players website – you can contact Mike Emery. They have several bands of different sizes, but all absolutely amazing: New York Players, City Rhythm, Body and Soul… they are amazing. Highly recommended. Hope this helps!

  2. Rachel (07.28.10)

Beautiful photos! I’m getting married at the dance museum next year! I was wondering if you could tell me how the acoustics were with the live band, and what the name of your band was?

    congratulations!

  3. Nathalie Morenon (07.26.10)

you look so happy, these pictures are just beautiful…. all the attention, love, care, happiness show how much this familly is marvelous…. keep it on!

  4. Taiyebeh (07.21.10)

Joe and JP – you guys did it again! I cannot begin to tell you just how pleased we are with these photos. It’s clear that you paid attention to every detail with your artistic eyes and these pictures could not have come out better. My handsome son looks like a prince and my beautiful daughter-in-law looks like a princess. This was a very happy occasion and the photos communicate that. We cannot wait to see the entire photo collection! Thank you again for everything. The Ghazis love your work and consider you a friend of the family.

  5. Neema (07.20.10)

Joe and JP Elario are simply the best in the business. These photos are absolutely amazing! We had an unbelievable time at our wedding and these pictures allow us to relive every memorable moment, and there were many. If this is a small sample, I cannot wait to see ALL of the photos that were taken that day. We had 80 people at our wedding. The National Museum of Dance is the perfect venue for a wedding of this size; it’s really an incredible space. The Mansion did the catering and the New York Players provided the music. Everyone loved the food and the dance floor was jam-packed all night! We were extremely fortunate to have Joe and JP at our wedding. They’ve become a friend of the Ghazi Family and the effort they put into this event exceeded every expectation we had for the occasion. They are consummate professionals and if you are lucky enough to get them to do your wedding, you can rest easy knowing they always deliver. Also, JP truly saved the day with his quick thinking. That was the best 99 cent investment in history of wedding receptions.

  6. Clarissa (07.20.10)

I’ve been looking at these pictures over and over. They just keep bringing me back to that special day. You guys are just so talented to be able to capture all of the excitement and love of that day. The pictures are AMAZING, i love them so much. Thank you so much for being so wonderful and for helping us hold on to our wedding day. @Mona and Gita- love you guys. Mona’s not kidding when she says you are the BEST. You truly made me feel relaxed and calm and to just have fun with the photos. @MMF I had a great time with Sue and Angela. We had a party getting ready! They are both so talented and great to work with. I felt like my BEST self on my wedding day- as it should be.

  7. theresa (07.20.10)

I guess “Mona” said it all . (they are beautiful)

  8. Mona (07.19.10)

Sarah – The dress is Jessica McClintock! I got it last fall at Macy’s… and then I spotted a similar one last month (different color – olive green instead of blue) at Nordstroms I think. :) Thanks for the compliment!!

  9. SArah (07.19.10)

I’ve been a blog stalker for a while and just had to comment on this wedding. Everything is simply beautiful- great job JP and Joe! The bride looks like a model and groom looks so happy. And Mona- I’m sure you’ll read this… I LOVE your dress! Can you comment where it’s from?

  10. Mona (07.19.10)

Comment #2 from the sister/sister-in-law… again to MMF – credit where due – while you guys had a beautiful canvas to work with, bringing out the most beautiful in someone is truly an art that you guys don’t take lightly!!! I’ve seen lots of hair and makeup in my day as #1 fan, and I can truly say you do the BEAUTY justice. You guys bring out the most beautiful and natural in each bride and NEVER overdo it. I think my sister said she was hard pressed – even in LA – to find ladies with such talent as yourselves. Fabulous is 100% the right name. Go team MMF!!!!

Again commenting because I’m so excited – it’s almost like reliving the event (as Gita pointed out)… and to a certain extent I’m about as excited for these pics as I was for my own wedding. :)

You guys really nailed it. To look at these photos of them, you’d never guess it was 90 and humid as all get out. They look cool, relaxed, and their expressions are truly sincere, warm, LOVING. You really got the love between them… It was such an amazing time, and we’re so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with so many great people (friends) twice. :) <3 <3 <3 These pictures just make my week, I cannot wait to see the rest of them!!!!

btw – the last shot??? Awesome. Really? The whole FAMILY, the centerpiece, the cake in the background… so perfect. Surprised? Not one bit. You guys don't miss a thing. :)

  11. Alayne (07.19.10)

Mona, you are so right, Clarissa is so beautiful. She has the most beautiful skin I have ever seen, not only in these photos but also in person. Sue and Angela could not have done a better job capturing her natural beauty. She looks absolutely perfect!! She is so Sweet and Beautiful. Great addition to your family. MWAH, MWAH to you all!!

  12. Mona (07.19.10)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! YEAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! I was betting on Tuesday for this blog, but I’m SO happy you blogged it today. :)

First and foremost – you guys capture my brother beautifully. Neema is a good lookin’ guy, but you capture his calm, his excitement, you capture exactly how he was the whole day. Love the look on his face on the first pic of the first looks (also the last one). Those brought tears to my eyes they were so beautiful.

Clarissa – for anyone who doesn’t know her and may think “WOW! Is she a beautiful bride or WHAT?” Yes, you’re right – but if you don’t know her, you don’t realize that she looks that beautiful every day. Truly. Now, credit where it is due – Make Me FABULOUS did a beautiful job on her because they did perfect hair and makeup on her, making her look FABULOUS of course, and still making Clarissa look like Clarissa. Just gorgeous!!! (BTW Alayne I was channeling you when I was buttoning her up – all I could think was “wow my fingers are like hooks too!!! I’m good at this” Thanks for the tip) :) <3

Paul is, quite simply, the man. :) He's the greatest kid you've ever met, and he was just as happy as the two of them to share this day with his mom and Neema.

It was a beautifully touching ceremony, I love the shot of their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. Ghazi with everyone cheering in the back. They are a beautiful couple, and I could not possibly love them more. :)

I can't choose. I love all the pics. The red cab – awesome. But more than anything else, each one of these pics just show how wonderful, fun, and happy the day was. So glad you guys could be present to capture such magic. Big Joe and JP – you guys are the best. I had fun hanging out with you!!!

I may need to post another enthusiastic YAY!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3

    Love this. :)

  13. Gita (07.19.10)

These pics made me relive that entire day. I can’t pick a favorite as they are all gorgeous; however the one of Mona, Clarissa and my aunt dancing in the bridal suite is definitely in my top 5. That picture basically says “let the partying begin”….or may be it already had started :)
The one with Neema sitting on the front bumper of the red car and clarissa standing next to him brought tears to my eyes…sooo sweet and beautiful.
JP, another fabulous set of pics. Saw the one of you and Ardy too…loved it.
My family definitely knows how to throw a party of any size…and Elarios definitely know how to capture the mood and essence of the day.

  14. Erin (07.19.10)

    Abs. beautiful!!!

forth of july wedding with connie & peter

Posted in: Weddings

July 16 2010

WOW! That’s basically the reaction to this one peeps. From the beginning to the end everything that went down at this wedding was just awesome. A stunning bride, a super stylish groom, great families, awesome bridal party, beautiful ceremony, sweet details, top notch two hour cocktail hour, more sweet details, the most awesome tents I’ve ever seen, great entertainment and fireworks that would make the Golub’s jealous. That sums it up!

Lets start from the top though… Normally we do not take weddings on the 4th of July. We work pretty much every weekend all summer so the 4th every year is just a given that we’ll be off. However, we simply could not say no. We knew both the bride and groom from pervious weddings etc plus they’re just a great couple. Peter and his family throw a 4th of July party every year with fireworks, only this time they added one heck of a wedding to the festivities. That being said here we are 2:00pm on July 4th 2010 at Connie’s house ready to roll. Did I mention it was hot? Oooh man, this was a hot one. Like any photographer would we searched outdoors for that perfectly shaded area and when we found it we began photographing Connie and her 10 bridesmaids, 1 junior bridesmaid and 2 flower girls. Now thats a BIG bridal party. Everything was held at Peter’s parents home and he had quite the entourage waiting for us too, 12 groomsmen and 3 ring bearers! WOW! After a ceremony where the sermon was delivered from an iPad (how cool right?) we quickly photographed both families, bridal party and Connie & Peter. However we saved the good stuff of the b & g for when the light was right. The cocktail hour was 2 hours long and their 300+ guests had more than enough food to choose from. Big shout out to Angelo Mazzone, Traci Montanino, Mark Delos and the rest of the team from Mansion Catering for absolutely knocking this one off the charts. Since I’m giving shout outs I would be crazy not mention the tents! WOW again! These tents were the most beautiful tents I’ve ever seen. What makes them so special you ask? Well they’re not your typical vinyl tent. No no, these Sperry Tents are made of sailcloth. They came all the way from New Hampshire by a comany called Sperry Tents Sea Coast. I guess each post is like a whole tree too. I learned that fun fact from this couples florist David Michael Schmidt from Renaissance. David did a great job on all the florals, linens and those porcelain angels. Props to The New York Players for keeping that awesome wooden dance floor rocking all night. Also we shot along side videographer John Tegan from the Clark+Walker team, Johns a fun guy, I look forward to their trailer John so get on it already ;) ( i know john so i can bust his chops) One link and contact I’m lacking is the firework provider. Please leave that in the comment box if you know who was responsible for the most insane firework display I’ve ever seen at a wedding. I guess that wraps us up here! Connie & Peter, congrats and thank you so much for having us shoot your big day. We are beyond thrilled with this collection of images and I have a feeling you will be too.

Peace,
JP

Pretty bride, pretty flowers.

Count em up! 10 beautiful bridesmaids, one former Elario bride (jaimee who’s expecting in august congrats guys!) and one current Elario bride (connie)!

Connie, seriously thanks for making my job so hard.

She knows how to work the camera.

Anyone who knows Peter knows this image really captures him. He’s just on the go with rings in hand…

The Amedore boys…

Very stylish guys, I’m digging this dark brown tux.

Ceremony site..

A couple Renaissance details.

She was so happy to see Peter.

Peter was pretty excited too. I love this shot.

Seriously the coolest tents ever.

Delivering his sermon from an iPad while they enjoy a laugh.

Classic Elario double angle.. Big Joe’s 14mm

My 35mm 1.4

A couple guys got together for the 4th of July..

When I captured this I might have screamed with excitement.

How cute are they?

A little attitude,

An awesome cocktail hour with local celeb chef Jamie Ortiz.

Another insanely beautiful tent.

With some Renaissance details..

A first dance..

and a toast. Although there were 300+ people Connies MOH looks like she’s just speaking right to Connie.

I normally don’t blog “kids at weddings” on my site. Why? I just think it’s too easy to post a shot of flower girls. People will always say “awww”. But I just loved this light that scraped through the tent for about 3 minutes.

A little more nice light.

How fun..

Here they have this beautiful house and I take them into the weeds.

My facebook teaser.. I just love this little series.

Cute..

Forehead kisses..

I think this is in my top 3 from the day.

I had to throw in a b&w.

I asked them to dance.

wow.. just wow.

As the night went on the scenes got prettier..

Then the fireworks came.

Wow. This was an impressive display.

Everyone enjoyed them for at least 20 minutes.

Connie & Peter didn’t move. They just embraced while the sky made magic. I told them forget Price Choppers display of fireworks, next year I’m going to the Amedore home.

Shout out to some blog stalkers! My boys Michael & Matt (both in blue)… thanks for following gentlemen.

In the Elario Photo Booth its a must you jump. Kind of our thing.. We make everyone jump…

even Angelo, he jumps for Elario Photography!

  3. Akira Lee (07.20.10)

I really love this one. The tent (don’t know if it’s the correct name) is so beautiful, just perfectly fit with outdoor and sunlight. They even have fireworks at night!! Such a romantic wedding day~

  4. Christina (07.19.10)

Wow! What a huge beautiful wedding!! Must have been a blast!

  5. Michele Priess (07.19.10)

As always beautifully photographed. Congrats to Connie and Peter, 2 of the nicest people I know. Beautiful wedding. Joe you are so gonna be my photographer!

  6. Andy Macpherson (07.18.10)

those fire works and just the whole wedding in general was insane! great shots.

  7. Courtney Weaver (07.17.10)

    Joe-
I was a bridesmaid in the Juky 10th wedding you photographed for Jessica & Tom. I was talking to Jessica and her family today and they were chatting about the July 4th wedding you did and how amazing the pictures are and how beautiful the bride looks. So I figured I’d take a look especially because we are so anxious to see the pictures from Jess & Tom’s wedding. I’m reading your blog and nothing dawned on me until I saw the bride. You must have had a blast because as I do know Connie & she is a lot fun!! She isn an awesome person and an amazing violinist!!! It looksz like everyone enjoyed themselves! Connie looks absolutely stunning! Congratulations to Connie & her husband!! Can’t wait to see the puctures from July 10th! ~Courtney

  8. Kara D (07.16.10)

It is crazy that the back to back 4th of July weekend weddings were ACADEMY weddings!! I can’t believe Peter is MARRIED!! I grew up with you Amedore boys at Academy (some of you) and it’s crazy that now Peter is married…. Last time I saw you all together as a family George had some kids, Paul had some kids and Mark had some kids…. The Amedore clan has grown again!!! Congrats to you both…It looks like everything was PERFECT!!

  9. Davidmichael Schmidt (07.16.10)

Wow, I give you great feed back on every wedding because you guys do a great job but you really got awesome shots of the couple on this one!!! I met with Connie and Peter before we even had a date set and had the privilege of setting up all the venders for them as well. I would like to thank my friend Banks from sperry tents for driving four hours from maine to meet me at the site in february to start the planning of the tents. they were awesome! and clifton park rental smoked it with all the lighting, beautiful brand new blond chairs for ceremony and reception, not to mention every single other item it took to get the party finished! Connie and Peter wanted a wedding that they would remember and their guest would feel at home and comfortable at. I think we did just that, loved those linens we provided, nothing says class in a tent like hemstitch linen under a sail cloth canvas roof. Another thrilled Renaissance couple, thanks everyone for making it happen!

  10. Mona (07.16.10)

Finally got to check these out!!!! As always, beautiful work JP and Big Joe (Joe I love your comment – “I don’t recall teaching him this technique?”)

The tent shots are amazing – what a beautiful couple!! Seriously so photogenic. My favorite FAVORITE photo is Connie kissing Peter on the cheek with him smiling so big. Absolutely adorable moment. That and the “this is my top 3 for the day”. So great. Congratulations guys!!!! What a beautiful EVERYTHING – tent, fireworks… amazing (Love the fans, good idea in this heat!!!!)

    CONGRATS!!!

CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT BLOG (My brother, of course) <3

  11. Nicole (07.16.10)

WOW!!! Is there anything else to say?? These are outstanding photos…what a beautiful couple and event. Congratulations to you both- everytime I see a new post, your exceptional photos and new angles on everything make me want to re-do the day all over again! Nice work :-)

  12. Sandra Cardona (07.16.10)

OMG! The last photo of you, your Dad and Ang is hilarious! I love it!

Now on to the wedding, this is just stunning. I went to HS with Peter and Paul and I can’t believe we are all grown up and married. What a wonderful family – who wouldn’t want to get married at the Amedore Home! Beautiful!

I think i want to get married again so we can have a photo booth and bling shot – Love it!

  13. Jaimee Willcoxon (07.16.10)

you just keep getting better and better at what you do! Amazing material to work with here and you captured it awesomly!!!

  14. Megan F (07.16.10)

The firework photos are AMAZING!! What a beautiful wedding! They are such a cute couple.

  15. Marie (07.16.10)

    Just noticed Angelo!!!

  16. Marie (07.16.10)

AHH!!! We have 10 girls too!! I can’t wait…so excited for our wedding in the Spring! These two are such a cute couple. Not shots JP and big Joe, I loved seeing Jamie in there!

  17. joe Elario (07.16.10)

one more : In 1976 ( 5 years before JP was born ) I made a very successful photo image of “fireworks over Albany ” celebration of the this country’s “Bicentennial” . It actually sold well over 100 pieces , trust me folks any photographer will tell you – photo-images are tough to sell as a fine art.
My fireworks were nice , but these here ( exception w/tent in foreground is mine) by JP are astonishing – I don’t remember teaching him this technique ?

  18. John T (07.16.10)

Wow. Re-living it all through the pics is awesome! What a great night that was! Can’t wait to get the video up!

  19. Sabrina Romero (07.16.10)

BEAUTIFUL WEDDING!!!!!! that tent was off the hook both day AND night!!! you guys did an AMAZING job… as always ! <3

  20. Sharon Wheaton (07.16.10)

epic wedding! amazing.. she is rocking that veil! great stuff.. always love your work! :D

kara & paul: saratoga national

Posted in: Weddings

July 15 2010

On July 3rd 2010 we had the honor to shoot a local celebrities wedding. I’m sure you all know Kara right? Kara was one of those brides that was just fun from day one when we met. Actually I’ve known Kara for a few years now. Paul is not too far behind on the fun factor either. He’s just one really likable guy, you just wanna give him a big bear hug haha. These two are like a perfect match. With two fun personalities like Kara & Paul what better time of year to tie the knot than independence day weekend? Its like Christmas of the summer and everyone just comes ready to have a good time.

So lets start from arriving at Kara’s house… From stepping out onto the super hot pavement I saw a great sight. Whats that you ask? It was makeup artist Flawless by Tina and hair stylist Mark Anthony done for the day. I love when I can work with professionals that are on time! That makes us very happy people. Kara was pretty happy too. She had 100 dozen roses on her coffee table from Paul. I imagine thats got to make you excited to get married. Anyway, Kara was ready to hop into that fun gown and slip on her pink shoes. After that, we then stepped out back and shot some portraits of the girls. The light outside was so nice too, you’ll see. When we arrived at the church Paul and his boys were in the back just bugging out and having fun, then the men had to get serious for the mass and nuptials. After mass it was time to head to Saratoga National. When you walked in there you knew it was going to be a good time. Aside from a champagne station that whenever a glass was taken it was instantly refreshed by the awesome staff at national, you were greeted by life sized cutouts I photographed of Kara & Paul back in May. Heading upstairs I was blown away with the transformation of the ballroom. It was a completely different room. David Michael Schmidt and his team from Renaissance were on this one and they did a great job! Talk about great jobs… the cake! Oh man that cake was an instant home run by Debbie Coye Saratoga’s famous cake lady! From then on out it was party time. Ad a b&w dance floor and some nice toasts and you instantly have a party. So Kara and Paul, we’d like to thank you for having us capture your big day. I knew it was going to be a great one and not only that but I knew you’d both be a great couple! Congrats to you both!!

Peace,
JP

Pink shoes = fun bride.

I do, love these images. ;)

Here’s Kara!

Our back for some shots. The light was pretty awesome. For it being so sunny Kara’s white house acted as a reflector. This was a gift from god.

So pretty…

Classic bride and bouquet shot. Bouquet #1 too.

Kara & Dad… probably my fav from the whole day.

As they were turning the corner to walk down the aisle.

Classic Elario double angle… Big Joe up top..

and mine from the ground..

Pretty cool huh? Shout out to Paper Dolls of Saratoga, they did all the paper things ;)

I’m pretty sure the b&w dance floor came from Total Events since thats where we got ours from along with the pipe and drape and extra lighting.

Yes, this is Saratoga National folks..

I shot the head table before the big pieces came up. You’ll see them in the toast shots. Flowers by Renaissance

Cake by Debbie Coye. How fun is this cake?

The details on the cake were pretty awesome and totally amazing.

Angelo himself serving tomato soup sips. We had these at our wedding and they were a major hit! All “One Reputation” brides & grooms should order these!!

First dance!

How great are these?

Pauls father was his best man… he decided about 1 minute into his toast he didn’t need notes. Paul got a little roasted by his Dad.. too funny.

That Nikon 14mm is straight up sick.

Cheers!

Out onto a new Elario original SNGC spot..

for some sweet images…

and some awesome light…

followed by a little dancing..

and some laughter.

There is nothing like an amazing b&w..

This one is more amazing though.

I love having couples laying in the grass.

I mentioned above there was a second bouquet.

And I’ll leave you with my facebook teaser image…….

Kara you look amazing and the wedding was the best eva….i feel bad for Paul though…no one is commenting on him…Paul you came out great in all the photos….not a single hair out of place

  7. Davidmichael Schmidt (07.16.10)

Special thanks to the Elario Boys, this was not an easy one to pull off but I transformed the room 100% per the requests of the bride and her mom. Every spec was custom and perfect. I draped the room and gave Kara the B&W dance floor to make it all sing with the “black white, pop ‘o’ pink” requests from the newly crowned Mrs. Lynch…. Yes I did make her two bouquets one in white (for the all white ceremony) and one in hot cha cha pink to match those smokin hot shoes….. THey loved everything!!! as every Renaissance Bride Does! thanks for clicking it for me Joe and JP… Looking forward to that PHAT disc coming my way with the tons of work we did together this year.
AND BTW the last shot of Kara and Paul really shows off that bit of bling Paul picked up at my store draped around Kara’s neck.
Congrats and thanks to all who helped make it happen

Wow – Two Albany Academy Grads back to back – I am lovin this trip down memory lane! This photos came out amazing… I spoke to Kara shortly after she was engaged, as we discussed photos. You and Big Joe were the only choice for this area and now you can see why….

So happy for Kara and wish her the very best!

  19. Mona (07.15.10)

THANK YOU for finally posting this. Seriously. I could guarantee a bunch of us were chomping at the bit for a new blog. You guys work hard though, we know that, but we get eager, what can I say? These are beautiful. I went to high school with Kara, so happy for you – you look absolutely gorgeous! Both of you guys look incredible. A few things:

    1) Saw the cutouts and had to do a double take! So funny!
    2) Grilled cheese and tomato soup? I SO would have had these at our wedding!
    3) Saratoga National – are you kidding me??? I would not have recognized the place. They did an INCREDIBLE job draping the room, the lights are fantastic
    4) SHOES. Nuff said
    5) Ok more – where are people getting the I do shoes? Adorable
    6) Beautiful dress – and I love how the bridesmaids had a sort of similar themes neckline. Very cute.
    7) I love the shots in the fields. Immediately in my head I was thinking of Sting’s “Fields of Gold”.

These are just great – I am sure your day was even more wonderful than the pictures, which makes it pretty damn awesome! Congrats again Kara and Paul!!!!! :)

  20. Lori Sev (07.15.10)

behind the scenes video with natalie & ryan: part 2

Posted in: Video, Weddings

July 9 2010

I hope you all enjoyed part 1! If you have not watched it yet I urge you to watch it before you peep part 2. Just a technical note… you might want to crank the volume for a few of the clips that take place with dialogue later in the video. We shot them “off the hip” and didn’t have an optimal mic on the camera. Thats what happens when you have something spontaneous to shoot I guess. Anyway, watch you’re about to watch here is basically a rundown of after the ceremony on. This is what I call fun time! So sit back and enjoy it! Again big thanks to our pal  Al Woodard for supplying me with all these clips!

Peace,
JP

Awesome job with these videos J.P. I give you big props on finding the time to do these edits, plus keep your photo blog posts flowing consistently. Natalie and Ryan, thank you both for putting up with our antics all day. As you can see, things sometimes get pretty silly with us, but the couple always comes first. Great images first, then unlimited ridiculousness!

It’s almost September!

Wow! Where did July go? Seriously it was just here a minute ago. It’s that time of summer where the days start to get shorter and a little more cooler. Before we know it we’ll be busting out the fall clothes. So enjoy the rest of August because Septembers right around the corner. Happy blog stalking!
