Hey gang! Well as promised here are some answers from the q&a blog post. Since we had soooo many questions I thought we’d answer a lot of them but not all. So who know’s how many parts it will take? I would just say follow the twitter and your rss feeds to see when I post a new “we got answers” blog post.
Peace,
JP
PS.. We’d love to meet you and we’ll be looking for you at the Glen Sanders Bridal show this Sunday! Please stop by and say hi!

Hey I see your dad uses a Nikon and you use Canon, I don’t to get in to whats better but if there a reason for that? or just preference?
fantastic!!
i. love. you guys.
You two are so natural together…. you both have the ability to make your clients feel comfortable and relaxed, therefore the results, the images are so perfect and a pleasure to view. You are the best !!!
You guys are awesome! I love this post – the video is so well done and you two are so natural in front of the camera!
Love the post! Can’t wait to see what is to come…. great idea!!!!
Love this! Fun to see you and your Dad chat it up together.
This is great! Thanks!
A question for Q & A part 2 : Have you ever had any crazy photo booth pics ? Tell us about them !
This is great! Loved “big” Joe’s “thank you” for the mentor comment. Simply the best. Can’t wait for the rest!
that was fun, thanks :)
Love it!!!!! Awesome, guys!!!! Be careful, I might just show up at the bridal show (ok no I won’t because that would be insanely strange of me). Really I won’t.
Anyways, awesome! Looking forward to parts 2, 3, whatever! Way to keep it new and different and fun, as always. :)
Hey gang! I need questions and I want them asap! If any blog stalkers out there or brides, grooms, photographers or whatever have questions I want you to ask them to me! Big Joe and I are going to do a video blog in response to all the questions you ask. Well, maybe not all…. If you want to know where we enjoy shooting receptions the most, ask it! If you want to know what time you and your bridesmaids should be dressed and ready, ask it! If you wanna know what kind of hair product I use, ask it! I use a lot btw. Just leave them in the comment box below or if your too shy to comment then email me them jp@joeelariophotography.com.
This is going to be fun!
JP
ps. Thanks for all the questions & comments! I’m going to turn off the “ad comment box” for now since I’m officially done accepting questions. Check back for the answers video post soon!
Here are some images from one of my favorite moments to shoot at a wedding. I just love capturing a bride & groom seeing each other for the first time. On this blog you’ll hear me constantly praise couples who do this. It just makes the day flow great. Now I understand some couples don’t want to do a first look too and thats totally fine with me, it is your wedding day. So choose your favorite below by clicking “vote”.
Peace,
JP
Great shots.
I can’t even begin to say how much I love all these! I love the first looks more than anything because it’s a sweet, intimate glance into the couples’ heads at that very moment where they see each other. Shock, surprise, elation, joyous and sweet. I’ll never forget my first look with andrew, and I’m so glad I had you guys all on hand to capture such a special moment.
It was a moment all our own, but you captured it so that we could share it with everyone else… that is incredible.
LOVE all these, you guys are theeeee best. :)
Hey hey!

Saving the best for last, haahaa, can’t say I blame you. Nice collection JP. It looks like you had a fun year with some great couples.
mona, we didn’t drive. it was by boat remember? & lisa I agree, voting for a fav was soooo hard to do.
You know I’m a perpetual commenter. :)
Great shots, I’ll bet I could guess your favorite ones. Actually I’m between two (and to be completely unbiased and fair here let me just say I’ll bet that your favorite is not mine. Which is ok :) )
Beautiful, happy, wonderful shots. I’m keeping our location a secret too (partly due to the fact that I don’t remember where we drove ;-) )
YAY!
That was a really hard one to vote on, they are all really great pics!!
