Wow, what a weekend we had to setoff the month of May! Seriously it was like 85 degrees. It was just a wonderful day for a wonderful couple. Joely is the local gal, David on the other hand and all his people came up from Long Island looking to party. That didn’t mean Joely’s people didnt bring it though! This reception was straight up off the hook, the energy never stopped all night. But before all that we took some photos, had a first look and watched a ceremony. Everything took place at The Desmond Hotel. We showed up to room 115 and shot some really great images of Joely getting ready. Then it was outdoors to find the guys and orchestrate a first look. I love the image with Joely on deck and her two adorable sisters (also maid of honors) prepping the dress. Did I mention it was hot? Yeah well we managed to bang out a ton of photos and get everyone back inside to see Super Saver win the Kentucky Derby. Needless to say I think everyone was thankful that they didn’t miss that. Next think I knew it was 7:30pm, Joely and her father Joe were heading down the aisle. After that, party time. The New York Player’s showed this crew of 220 plus how we do it up here in the 518 ;) There are some people I totally enjoy and love working with and thats Cheryl Lighthall of CASL Productions and her sister Mandy, these two ladies are fun and make pretty videos. I also would be crazy for not mentioning the awesome flowers by Fleurtacious Designs, seriously the bouquet looked like ice cream! Joely and David, I’m glad we set off the official start of the 2010 wedding season with you guys. The energy from your party alone has me stoked for the rest of the season. Congrats and thanks for letting us make pretty images for you guys!

I don’t know how Kris Ann grows this grass so easy. She’s like a little scientist, you should see the flower shop when she’s doing on of these. Its just so awesome, all the guests pet it lol.

More ice cream. Those flowers look like scoops of vanilla ice cream.  Fleurtacious Designs knocked it out the park.

Lisa of Gourmet Confections just does an incredible job.
