Who does’t love a good old contest? The last one was insane right to the end. In this post you’re going to find one image from each wedding beginning in January of 2011 and ending in August of 2011. There are a total of 22 weddings below and we want to see what was your favorite! Because I’m just crazy about this product the winner will get aLuxe Frame with the winning image inside from my friends at Millers Lab. I’m looking forward to see who takes the cake!

Ah yeah! Its that time of year again where I share all these random behind the scenes images from 2011! I first started this annual blog in 2008. Then I posted the 2009 and 2010 as well. They’re fun! This blog is really a year in the works! Every wedding we shoot we hope to come out with some fun behind the scene images. While this is easily my longest post this year I don’t mind it. I was going to break it up into parts but decided not to. When I tell you to sit back, grab a drink and a snack I mean it!

As we know the season started cold! It also started with a photo bomb!

In March 2011 we welcomed Hayden Yund to our wedding scene. It didn’t take her very long to come out of her shell and thats why we love her.

Big Joe owned a Leica M9 for like 5 minutes, got bored with it and send it back. Thats a common thing with him and his toys.

After Mel and Chris’ wedding…  our lab Miller’s flew us out to Kansas for a tour of their digs! For a day we got to feel like Jay-Z & Kanye.

They also brought us to a Kansas City Royals game at the K! This was a trip I’ll never forget.

Wow! Wedding number forty-two is here! This is the final wedding of the 2011 season! As I write this one I feel a sense of relief that I can officially call 2011 a wrap! This was probably our longest season in a while. Its funny to look back at the weddings we shot in January this year, seems like a decade ago to me. Anyway I’ve blogged every wedding from 2011 and I thank you all for coming back week after week and supporting my blog. I probably don’t say it enough but thank you to you all!! More I look forward to doing it again in 2012! Now, let’s get into Julie and Chad’s blog post!

What can I say about December 10, 2011? Well for starters it was not your typical December day. Sure earlier that week we got some snow but come Saturday it was close to forty degrees and super sunny! In the bridal suite was our smiling and happy bride, Julie. She was in the Make Me Fabulous chair getting her pretty on. Our friend and wedding coordinator Katie O‘ was on the scene. Thank god for wedding coordinators. I wish I could make it mediatory for my clients to use them! It’s just great because I can be creative and do my thing while making pretty pics! I’ll leave that rant for another blog though. Anyway once Julie was dressed we then headed to Congress Park, met up with videographer Al Woodard and had some fun. It was chilly but we did our thing and worked quick. I had Julie come out the front door of the Historic Canfield Casino for the first look and I loved it. That building is so photogenic inside and out! After the first look and other group shots it was time for a ceremony. The parlor was beautifully decorated by Experience and Creative Design and was filling up fast with guests arriving by the busload. Once they tied the knot a wonderful Mansion Catering cocktail hour began. After cocktails City Rhythm set it off and the floor was packed per usual all night. I must say this was a great one to end our 2011 wedding season with. Julie and Chad are awesome people and I wouldn’t have had 12.10.11 any other way! Thank you guys so much for choosing us for the big day! I know that honeymoon is treating you well!!

Ok! Sorry for the delay on this one. I’ve been trying to blog it all week but I kept getting held up with random things so my apologies! Last Saturday was a beautiful day for Megan and James! December 3rd and all photos were taken outside, I’ll take it! We set things off at the Morrell home in Loudonville and did all the photos there. This home was just beautiful and super photogenic. I could have shot there for hours, they should rent the place for photo shoots! Megan and James kept things simple with a small bridal party, thats just how I like it, especially on wedding #41 of 42 this year ;) After that these two love birds tied the knot and partied all night! Thank you both for choosing us to capture your big day! I had a great time. Megan, you were so funny during your ring exchange with all the laughing. I seriously never laughed that hard during a ceremony. Congrats to you both!
