Watching this video reminds me of the first time I met Big Joe. It was at my friend Jen’s wedding and she got ready at the Gideon Putnam. I was there in the hotel room where he shot and it didn’t seem like there was much to work with. Well when I saw her proofs, there was the Elario magic and I knew that there was no other choice of photographer when I got married. You both are amazing! Love these videos, thanks for sharing!

JP, that is so cool and brings back so many fun memories of you guys at our wedding. The pictures, the wedding, the Elarios….simply fabulous.

This makes me wish I was getting married again!! Jp, Big Joe, you guys are amazing at what you do, no doubt about that! But what separates you guys from the rest is that you truly care about people, and you make them feel like friends, rather than just clients! Hopefully we’ll get to see you sometime next year! ;)

JP – Amazing work, as always. Long-time blog stalker who can’t refrain from making this recommendation any longer. Your images are just incredible. I strive to achieve something similar with ever wedding and engagement I shoot. Have you given any thought to doing technical Q&A sessions, or a post dedicated to your shooting techniques and methods? Your use of “butter light” is incredible and I’d love to know how you handle some of the harsher lighting you encounter outdoors and indoors.

I enjoy getting looking at what new photos your have shot and would love to know what gear you use more with Canon than Nikon since I use Canon as well. Thanks for sharing what you are shooting!

WOW! What can we say? First I’ll need to stop crying so I can type… thank you for choosing our wedding to create this promotional piece- for trusting that we would all get along and we wouldnt be camera shy (haha). But thats really the gift of JP Elario- we felt so comfortable and at ease… like we had known you for years and our close friend was going to be capturing those sweet, intimate moments others don’t even recognize. Add to that amazing eye for details your ability to be every where at once and you’ve really got a wedding covered from every angle. Everytime we wanted to capture a moment and said to ourselves, where’s JP- he needs to be getting this, we would turn around and you were already there shooting away. At the end of it all… all of the planning, joy, anticipation… we only have our memories and our pictures of that day to hold with us… we’re so delighted we chose you to preserve some of the finest moments of the journey we began that day.
