time for some video

April 30 2010

With wedding season officially underway I thought it would be fun to kick it off with a little video. Really, this is just a bunch of stuff complied into 6:25 of fun. Thanks to the one and only Al Woodard for hooking me up with clips starting from April of 2009 to November of 2009. I quickly edited this little piece and threw some Dave behind it because Dave just sounds better when its nice outside. It’s basically a fun little compilation of me & Big Joe doing our thing with some beautiful stuff Al captured last season. I know you all like the video so lets get into it.

Peace,
JP

  5. Mona (05.2.10)

Another fun thing to try – reading your guys’ lips as you’re guiding the bridal party, or talking to the camera! Fun fun :)

Wow! How fun to see you both in action! our family cannot wait until June!! By the way, do you always coordinate your ties to the bridal party color scheme or is it coincidence? Either way, you guys are a class act!

So Fun! It is amazing to watch all of you work and this is so great to watch…to see the motion and how things all come together. 12. natalie (05.1.10)

Hah! this was so fun to watch! how did al get the ducks to do that at the same time? :)

  13. Anthony (05.1.10)

It was nice to see some of my own bride and grooms, Sean & Jaimee, Shane & Alissa having so much fun on their wedding day. once they leave the tux shop I don’t ever get to see them enjoying their wedding day. I do get invited occassionally but unless it is an obligatory family to a friend I don’t often go. I’m thankful for the photos and thank you notes couples send so I can see what they looked like together, but I really appreciated the live action. JP you are a show unto yourself. It was so funny that it seemed you were moving to the music at times even though the music was after. You have an entertainers personality, I’m not sure what side of the camera you should be on :o) TC

  14. Mona (04.30.10)

Love it, love it, LOVE it. :) Made me smile all over again. Loved seeing all the other bride and grooms who had the dream team of you and your dad, and the one and only Al Woodard. :)

After seeing so many of the couples in pictures, it was so nice seeing them actually moving about and laughing and such. Well done. Proud to be among those captured by you guys. Fun. :D <3

  15. Lisa (04.30.10)

LOL!! I LOVE this!! I am so glad Jerome and I doing our farmer dance in a field is at least set to Tripping Billies!!! Keep up the GREAT work guys! Can we do it again?? PLEASE!!!!

  16. Kara D (04.30.10)

Makes me even more excited for 64 days from today!! Shout out to the Big Joe and Little Joe 2010 Brides to be! It’s almost here ladies!

  17. Maria (04.30.10)

The two of you are a class act!

just dance

February 23 2010

Hey all! So sorry for my absence here on the blog. It’s tough when you have just 11 days until you get married. I planned to blog my butt of this month but things happen and I think I can get a pass since it’s my turn to tie the knot. I do plan on having 2-3 more posts within the next week so make sure to check back. Anjella & Sarmads wedding was just wild so wait till you see this blog.

So with this post I thought it would be fun to share some party photos. I normally don’t blog party shots but these images I wanted to share. So on with the post…

Peace,
JP

I love this ending shot from Jaimee & Sean’s first dance. They danced to “Can’t take my eyes off of you” Frankie Valli

Then late night it turned into a disco!

Something tells me this is a Bon Jovi or Neil Diamond song…. just a guess.

This was Journey “Don’t stop believing”

I take it Alissa didn’t know this song?

Why not?

Cause if you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it.

These sisters made my dancing blog post last year.

This girl was funny….

Eye of the tiger here! Wow no one was getting that tossing bouquet haha!

Say cheese!

Packed dance floor!

I just laugh at this one.. Matt was buggin mid air.

I have no clue what was happening here but I love it.

Sorry I can’t dance with you!

Where did the chicken come from?!?

I’ll end with this just because I love this shot…

    3) Love them all :)

    11 days?!?!?!?! WOW!!!

ps – still working on our book! Promise!!! Take it as a compliment – it’d be easy if we didn’t have so many amazing ones :)

    You know I’m a perpetual commenter. :)

Great shots, I’ll bet I could guess your favorite ones. Actually I’m between two (and to be completely unbiased and fair here let me just say I’ll bet that your favorite is not mine. Which is ok :) )

Beautiful, happy, wonderful shots. I’m keeping our location a secret too (partly due to the fact that I don’t remember where we drove ;-) )

    YAY!

That was a really hard one to vote on, they are all really great pics!!

Here are some images from one of my favorite moments to shoot at a wedding. I just love capturing a bride & groom seeing each other for the first time. On this blog you’ll hear me constantly praise couples who do this. It just makes the day flow great. Now I understand some couples don’t want to do a first look too and thats totally fine with me, it is your wedding day. So choose your favorite below by clicking “vote”.

Peace,
JP

    Great shots.

  2. Mona (01.14.10)

I can’t even begin to say how much I love all these! I love the first looks more than anything because it’s a sweet, intimate glance into the couples’ heads at that very moment where they see each other. Shock, surprise, elation, joyous and sweet. I’ll never forget my first look with andrew, and I’m so glad I had you guys all on hand to capture such a special moment.

It was a moment all our own, but you captured it so that we could share it with everyone else… that is incredible.

LOVE all these, you guys are theeeee best. :)
