andrea & matt: engagement shoot

Last night I rocked out a fun engagement shoot with one of our September 2009 bride & grooms to be. This couple is living in CT and working in the TV / production world so they have that whole visual thing going on. In other words, they get it.

I have so much fun on these shoots, its a great chance for our couples to become familiar with us and our style. I have been told it puts them that much more at ease on their wedding day and they know what to expect from us. I also enjoy getting to know our couples, it makes me more comfortable with them too!

So enjoy these engagement, lifestyle, e-shoot, portrait (whatever you wanna call em’) photos for the weekend and check back next week as always for more updates.

PEACE!
JP

andrea & andy: glen sanders mansion

Having not met this couple until hours before the biggest day of their lives was not as issue what so ever. We always prefer to meet our brides and grooms but sometimes it doesn’t happen due to their location’s, jobs etc. Our bride Andrea, was a super fun and energetic bride, and groom Andy was relaxed and cool as a cucumber, a really nice balance. When we arrived early as usual, Andrea and her bridesmaids had the suite at Glen Sanders bumping with some tunes while they got ready. While Andy and his “grooms people” hung out in the little bar area downstairs pre ceremony. Their ceremony was lovely and unique featuring a solo (con te partiro) sang by Andrea’s maid of honor who absolutely killed it, no dry eyes. The party was looking sweet with a touch of talent by my fiance Kris Ann Blanchette owner of Fleurtacious Designs, and music provided by The New York Players. One more person who makes the day fun while working is videographer Lance Wheeler, great guy.

Enjoy, leave a comment, don’t be shy-

lori & jimmy: hall of springs

This past Friday, August 29, 2008 we had the pleasure to shoot Lori & Jimmy’s wedding at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga Springs, NY. These high school sweethearts tied the knot at the popular St. Mary’s Church in downtown Albany. A fun time had by all while The Refrigerators kept the hall hopping late into the evening. It was also nice for my father and myself to see many friends and catch up at this wedding.

Enjoy-
