One of the most flattering things for us is when a bride & groom from the past contact us for more photos. Dania & John’s wedding was one of our flagship weddings of 2004, by that I mean all around great images & an awesome couple to work with. When Dania contacted me and told me they had a new addition to their family named Kennedy not only was a happy for them but I knew they would want photos & I couldn’t wait to take them. Congrats on your newest addition guys, great to see you again.

From the first minute we met Kate back in April 2007 my father & I knew she was going to be an awesome bride. I mean look at the images, her personality screams thru them. Mark was a pleasure as well. He was a laid back, relaxed groom.

This day was nice too! The rains been kicking our butts this season, but we don’t let it get to us. When we arrived at Glen Sanders it was sunny & raining, the rain only lasted about an hour, after that it was as nice as can be for an August day. The ceremony took place at St Marys Catholic Church in Ballston Spa, then it was back to Glen Sanders Mansion for the rest of the evening. We had fun with DJ Vinny Liotta from Cool Cat Entertainment, he had the dance floor packed as Kate & Mark requested from the get go. When they entered the ballroom it was party time from the 1st dance. A pleasure working with you Kate & Mark & congrats!

Probably my favorite shot all day…

Last Tuesday I shot my latest gown shoot with Well Wed Magazine at the historic Saratoga Race Track. I had to share a few but look for the rest in the next issue of Well Wed Magazine. Hair & makeup by Make Me Fabulous & a sampling of gowns from Cameo Couture, Lily Saratoga & Something Bleu. Model Sarah Von Ouhl was a trooper on this 11 gown shoot. There are a lot more photos but you’ll have to wait till the next issue hits the stands.

Amanda & Rod chose the most popular date in August this year. I cannot tell you how many we calls we had for that August 2, 2008 date. We were more than happy to have spent the day & night with this couple.

The location was wonderful, the weather was perfect when it needed to be. At the beginning of their ceremony the sun came out for the first time that day and just minutes after the ceremony the rain came out for the 2nd or 3rd time that day although we all managed to stay dry. It only lasted 30 minutes tops, just enough to cool off their outdoor tent reception. DJ Andy Pratt is a great guy to work along side, very professional and prepared at all times. The night was capped off by some sweet fireworks compliments of a friend of Amanda & Rod’s.
